I’ve been through 3 different electric blankets now. This one is by far the best! The blanket is very soft, and though it has the typical wiring, there are no large lumps like with some blankets. The photo is a bit misleading.
I ordered a full size which came with one controller which is digital and has a backlight. The backlight is dim enough to not interfere with sleeping…it brightens when you hit a button. The pre-heat function is awesome and the temperature goes from just warm enough to know it’s on to “OK that’s pretty hot”! Highly recommend!

The blanket was much better than I expected. Thick, yet soft and great to touch. Unlike some cheaper products, you cannot see through the blanket. It’s very warm and cozy.

After receiving Army Universe’s recommendation for size based on my dimensions, I ordered the XL. Having just returned from a snomobile trip to northern Wisconsin where the temps were in the low minus degrees, I can say the suit did the job. It was plenty large to allow layering underneath, yet tight enough at the sleeves and legs to prevent fridgid air from entering. The external belt is flimsy, but adequate. The chest and leg zippers are long enough to provide easy access to the suit. For the price the Black Snow Ski & Rescue Insulated Suit proved to be an excellent piece of equipment.

My daughter is a tall 18month old and I decided to buy this suit a little big for her – 2T and that worked perfect. It gives you enough room for the baby to wear a sweater before putting on the suit. It’s relatively easy to put on and it looks great too. The ends of the sleeves can be pulled over the baby’s hands to cover them like mittens! I love this suit for the arctic like cold winter temperatures.

The pants are very warm. When the weather is this cold, these type of pants make winter enjoyable instead of miserable.

I recently bought a pair of these and have worn them to take the family sledding on Mt. Rainier. I was surprised and impressed by the quality of materials. At this price I was expecting much thinner nylon and insulation. The nylon seems pretty durable and the fleece lining was really great. I wore them for over 3 hours of constant snow exposure on a 28 degree day and was extremely warm, even when laying in the snow. I actually don’t think I needed the long underwear I had on. Great pants!

Useful item. I actually used this last weekend when I unexpectedly had to put chains on my tires and was without a hat and mittens, so I am glad I had it.
