After receiving Army Universe’s recommendation for size based on my dimensions, I ordered the XL. Having just returned from a snomobile trip to northern Wisconsin where the temps were in the low minus degrees, I can say the suit did the job. It was plenty large to allow layering underneath, yet tight enough at the sleeves and legs to prevent fridgid air from entering. The external belt is flimsy, but adequate. The chest and leg zippers are long enough to provide easy access to the suit. For the price the Black Snow Ski & Rescue Insulated Suit proved to be an excellent piece of equipment.

My daughter is a tall 18month old and I decided to buy this suit a little big for her – 2T and that worked perfect. It gives you enough room for the baby to wear a sweater before putting on the suit. It’s relatively easy to put on and it looks great too. The ends of the sleeves can be pulled over the baby’s hands to cover them like mittens! I love this suit for the arctic like cold winter temperatures.

The pants are very warm. When the weather is this cold, these type of pants make winter enjoyable instead of miserable.

Useful item. I actually used this last weekend when I unexpectedly had to put chains on my tires and was without a hat and mittens, so I am glad I had it.

This is one of those winters where you need to get outdoors to enjoy all the excess snow we are having. That is where snow pants and snow suits come in real handy.

This book (and another) were recommended to me by a doctor in a pain clinic. The only way that this book would ever be helpful is if someone is new to chronic pain. Being that I’d been dealing with my chronic, intractable pain for 6 years prior to reading the book, most of the information contained in the book were dealing with issues I’ve long come to terms with. It also very much implies that taking narcotics in any way for a long term is not the solution for chronic pain, when that couldn’t be further from the truth for very many people. I was offended by the overall tone in the book that seemed to come off that all persons taking narcotics for pain were addicts, in many instances.
This book was not helpful to me. It may be helpful to you if you don’t yet know how to cope with life-long severe pain. However, if I were you, I’d first research intractable pain – there are much better resources out there than this book, and most of them are free on the web.
Here’s to a managable day!

I got this for my 21 month old son, and it’s been great for the cold weather. It’s not bulky, and it is very well made. I just wish it had mittens built in – my son doesn’t get the point of regular ones, and I wish it had a different way to zip up so that you don’t have to take one shoe off every time you take off the coat.
