Magnolia Organics Sheet Sets
December 2nd, 2009 by hotel_linens
These sheets replaced a set that were 3 times the price and 3 times the thread count and they still are unequivocally superior in quality and comfort. A true bargain at these prices, I would recommend ordering a couple of sets now before Magnolia Organics becomes a household name and starts charging what these sheets should really go for.

I have somehow gone two years with just one set of sheets for our bed. Of course this meant I had to launder them frequently, and they were starting to wear. The existing set was plain old white, so I decided to get something a bit darker this time around. I searched for organic cotton, since I’m trying to make the move to all organic bedding as I replace older pieces. I chose these Magnolia sheets because the colors looked rich, and the price seemed fair. I was pleasantly surprised when these sheets came packaged in a reusable cotton tote bag–I can never have too many of those for shopping! The sheets themselves were super soft right out of the bag, but I washed them before putting them on the bed. I figured they’d lose some of that remarkable softness after the first wash, but they did not. After several washes now, they are still as richly chocolate brown and super soft as the first time I put them on the bed. They feel GOOD. I will be buying additional sets in the other colors.

These sheets are a steal. Organic? Fair labor? In addition to which they have the basics covered nicely: they fit my mattress, are sewn well, feel great to sleep on, and the chocolate pinstripes are pretty. I’ve already been complimented on the bag they shipped in, which I’m using grocery shopping!

I was a little hesitant to order sheets without being able to touch them but I took a chance based on the good reviews and I am so glad that I did. These sheets are so soft and they come in a cute little organic bag. I will definitely order them again when I need new sheets.

Purchased this set after all the great 5 star reviews .. As others have noted, packaging is great, and the tote included is surprisingly nice, and my wife is already using it to carry around books.
As far as the main purchase – the sheets – they are OK. The 100% cotton sheets we had previously we much softer than these. While I would say they are soft, I wouldn’t say they are “luxuriously soft”.
Nice to know that they are organic, though, and I do hope they hold up. They seem to be of strong quality, so that is a plus as well.

I’ve been buying the sateen organic sheets from [...] for years, but they’re only affordable when they’re on sale, and I needed sheets ASAP because my current sheets (not Gaiam ones) just ripped. These sheets are thinner than the Gaiam ones, which makes them perfect for summer. The thread count is only 250, but the sheets are not at all stiff or scratchy. The sheets seem as soft as the 350 thread count Gaiam organic sheets. That said, I’ve never tried really expensive sheets, so I don’t know how these would compare. So far (after two washes) these sheets haven’t pilled at all. However, if you’re looking for perfectly smooth and “crisp” sheets, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
Regarding the appearance: The small rectangles are noticeable, but subtle. They don’t bother me. I particularly love the color of these sheets. (I bought the “double cream”.) Yellow organic sheets are hard to find. I wanted a cheery, lemony yellow color, not a gold or a very pastel yellow, or a yellowish cream. Despite the color’s name, these sheets are just what I was looking for. The yellow is slightly lighter than the picture, but very cheery, and definitely not a pastel yellow. They brighten up my bedroom considerably! For $[...], I would definitely buy another set.

These are a beautiful yellow and pretty soft! I was thrilled to find organic sheets at a reasonable price and I would purchase again!
