They look beatiful and the wrinkels came out easy by adding a wet towel in with the drapes and letting them tumble at a low heat in the dryer for 10 minutes. They were well worth the price.

My two year old has an obnoxiously bright street light directly outside her bedroom window that lights up her bedroom like the sun from about 7 pm to 6 am. It’s so bright in there I swear I could read a book at 2 am with the lights off. Consequently, in the 20 days since we moved in, she has woken up two to three times a night and we’re all sleep deprived.
We bought these to block the light and they’re about a 90% solution. They block a great deal of the light. She can now sleep much more soundly and didn’t wake us at all after we hung them yesterday. They are not perfect and they do let some light through but overall they work quite well, especially for the price. If you are seeking these curtains to block normal light during the day they work very well for that, as her west-facing windows are dark during the day with the curtains closed. If, however, you also have an ridiculously bright street light outside your window, you might consider buying these then lining them with a layer of blackout material, too.
Note, please, that the measurements for the width of our curtains were a bit off. Instead of 52″ they were 51″ wide. A mere inch can make a bit of difference when dealing with oddly sized windows like ours. I recommend buying them in a size larger than you require – I wish I’d gone with a wider curtain to have them hang more nicely as well.
All said, the olive shade that we ordered is doing quite nicely, though I suppose I’ll hang our regular shades over to block even more light.

I bought these to block out light. They work great, and are a good value.

For the money these are a good deal. The fabric is very nice and lightweight, more than I thought it would be. The color we chose, beige, is perfect. I was very impressed with how quickly they were shipped.
We ended up placing our rod brackets on one side just a tad higher to compensate. Other than that, they are a great buy.
My only beef is that one of the panels has one side that is a tiny bit shorter on one side. Not a lot, but just enough to be noticeable. What can I say, I’m a Libra and I like things to hang straight and be in balance

I have these in the beige color which is a light pretty beige. Pretty close to what is pictured, maybe a bit lighter. I thought it wouldn’t block out the light but these are really great. They are thick too so I am thinking they might help insulate a bit as well.

I purchased the burgundy colored ones for my family room doorwall and they are just beautiful! They’re very thick and sturdy, but have a nice satiny texture. They do a great job of blocking light and heat or cold from the outside. Love them!

I ordered a set of these for my bedroom and were so happy with them I ordered another set for another bedroom. They are beautifully finished and look elegant yet simple. The thermal back keeps light and cold out yet allows a nice warm glow to a room.
I washed these and put them in a dryer with low, low heat to dry. Hung them while still slightly damp and they do just fine.
Highly recommend.

These panels are ok. They cost less then some better made counterparts and it shows.
First issue…they do not block out light. They do filter it…but as the previous reviewer said, it is a “partial eclipse”. I have these in my bedroom and sleep during the day (I work nights). On bright sunny days there is a lot of light coming in.
Second issue…they are cheaply manufactured. The part where the rod goes is not even and the curtains hang slightly uneven.
Good things…they hang nicely once washed and ironed and look pretty elegant. Also…there is a noticeable reduction in draftiness around the window.
Botoom line…buy these for looks rather than functionality.
