Gift Card Resource

Gift cards may seem impersonal but for years I tried to guess what my family wanted or don’t already have. This I am letting them have the fun of picking out what they want.

Please be aware, you can not use Amazon Gift cards or credit to buy other gift cards. It will mess you up at end of payment process and not allow you to apply ANY credit towards ANY purchases during close out. Gift cards must be purchased with credit cards only.

i have one of the best gift cards that i think they have ever made its easy and affordable i just love it

  4. Reister Says:

Most companies that sell gift cards in bulk offer bulk buyers a discount of some sort. But, those are usually food chains and movie theaters. But even B&N offers a tiny discount for their gift card orders over $1000.

Regardless, these are a great idea, as we know many people who use Amazon for a lot of their online shopping, not just books. Especially in conjunction with the Prime shipping option, a great bargain if you buy many smaller items on Amazon.

Also, many organizations have gift limits of $25, so Amazon should consider offering their $25 cards in bulk. With a small discount of course…

If I can get a discount when I purchase a box of gift certs, then I’d consider it, otherwise no way, Jose. Obviously, Amazon is getting the benefit of holding my cash as float (and making a nice little return) while the cards are held by me, unused. I should be getting something back in return for that privilege. This is not the same as American Express with their Travelers Cheques or Gift Cheques, which also make money for Amex while they go uncashed, since in this case Amazon itself is the one who’s the retailer ultimately getting their profit at the time of sale. I could abide this for one or two gift certs, but not 50 for Pete’s sake.

    My $.02…

I order target gift card for a birth day present and it says it will ship within 2 to 3 days. i waited for a week and it wasn’t shipped yet so i called amazon, they said they are sorry but they assured me it will arrive in time. i waited for 5 days more and it was still not shipped i called amazon again and this time they told me they are sorry but they don’t have it in stock and they don’t know how long it is going to take and if i want i can wait. so i asked for how long they said we dont know but we assure you that we will send it when we got it (looool) and then they wanted it to sale me amazon gift card, i refused and i asked why you didnt tell me that in the first time, the answer was (we are sorry!!!!!!), you can cancel if you want!!!!!. after all the waiting they want me to cancel. this is bad service from amazon not from target they dont have it in stock and they still selling it to every body and promise they will get it in time. my advise if you want target card go buy it from target and you will get it in time dont waste your time here.

  7. Ogden Says:

Like other reviewers I ordered Target gift cards for Christmas, obviously checking before I ordered that they would arrive on time. They didn’t arrive however and I have now cancelled the order as Amazon apparently can’t tell me when they will be available. How can a gift card be unavailable???

  8. Varguez Says:

My son sent me a Target gift card. I took it to the store and upon checking out was informed by the cashier that the card was only good for online purchases. How embarrassing for me and how asinine for Target. I told my son about it and he had no idea that the card was restricted to online purchases. I’ll never use it, so it was a total waste and ripoff.

  9. Quirol Says:

My kids are grown up and away from home. As I do not know what they would want on special occasions the Amazon Gift Card is the only way to go. Anything they want they can find on Amazon and at the best price.
