Slip Covers

Well pleased with my new slipcover. I like the loose fit slip covers with ties as it gives a cottage look to rooms. Sage color is pretty as well. Now kitty and I can relax on our covered sofa knowing we can “wash up” when it gets soiled.

Slip is the right word for this slipcover! I hate it. I bought one for the sofa and one for the love seat. I should have sent them both back right away. They are terrible. They dont do any thing more than if I tossed a blanket over the sofa. They slip all over the place. The photo is very misleading. It looks like a tight fit but it is anything but!!

This slip cover fits my hide-a-bed love seat imperfectly. The point is, I can make it look perfect with tucking. The cover is made to fit different styles of sofas and truly does that well! I’m also please with the fabric. It’s rich, soft, and it doesn’t slip or get messed up after sitting on it day after day. It probably won’t stay in place as well over leather, but that’s understandable. I’ve yet to wash it, so I can’t attest to it’s durability through laundering but, so far, I’m very pleased with the purchase and find it to be a great value at a great price.

I was worried, after buying another type of slipcover on line years ago, that this one would be cheap feeling, especially since it’s suede. But it’s soft and the color is great, and it’s elasticized so it stays in place. Is a little confusing to put on in terms of front and back but overall a great buy.

These have been around for almost 4 years now. We have a one year old now and don’t mind so much that they prob could be replaced..but have looked great up until this point. Only grip is you do have to tuck quick a bit to make them look sleek, however, they wash up nicely. Ours have been washed numerous time and still are in pretty good shape.

No, these slipcovers aren’t the best. But considering how much they cost, they are a great deal. They definitely do the job.
I would suggest that these are not permanent slipcovers, though. They are good for covering up problem furniture when you need it, but not for a permanent fix. We bought them because we have a couch and loveseat that are very comfortable and perfect for entertaining, but they are also the only couches in the house that the dogs are allowed to be on. So they’re covered in dog hair. These are great because they cover up the hair – and they’re machine washable so we can pull them out for company and then wash and put them away for later.
My only real complaint is that they always seem to be wrinkled, but at my last party I actually got a number of compliments on them, so they’re not ugly. If you’re looking for something to be permanent and beautiful, these aren’t for you. If you looking for a quick, temporary fix, these are great.
